CALL TO ARTISTS: Florida Wow! Exhibition Dates: August 8, 2023 to September 19, 2023

Florida Wow! Create artwork that explores contemporary Florida. Engage us in current social
and political issues. Do we love or leave it? Draw inspiration from Florida’s current environmental activism and our history, landmarks, or natural attractions now being jeopardized by overbuilding.

Eligibility: Open to all Female Artists at least 18 years old Requirements:

 2- Dimensional Work in any media

  •  Wired in the back and ready to hang

  •  Up to 3 Entries maximum per artist

  •  Size not to exceed 36” on any one side.

    Send Submission Form and Check made out to WCA-CFL addressed to Rebecca Skelton, 506 13th Ave NE, St Petersburg 33701
    Submit Digital photos of work in jpeg format labeled as follows:
    Last Name.First Initial.Title.jpeg Email photos to: wcatampabay@gmail.com

    Submission Deadline: July 25, 2023
    Exhibition Dates: August 8 - September 19
    Delivery Date: August 8, 10 am to 11 am Take Down Date: September 19, 10 am to 11 am Deliver To: Oldsmar City Hall, 100 State St W, Oldsmar FL, 34677
    Reception Date: August 15, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

    Entry fees: Non Refundable
    WCA members:     $5 per entry up to 3 entries
    Nonmember: $15 per entry up to 3 entries
    Students and Artists in Residence: $5 per entry up to 3 entries

    Jurying process: A jury panel will use your digital images to select entries based on originality, creativity, quality and complexity

    Notification of acceptance via email: Week of July 30,2023
    Selected artwork should be delivered to Oldsmar City Hall 100 State St W., Oldsmar FL 34677

Any unsold work must be picked up on September 19, 2023. Any artwork not picked up will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of as we do not have storage space.

Submission of any artwork constitutes an agreement to all conditions of this entry form, including schedule and permission to photograph for publicity purposes.
